THE EMERGENCY FOOD ASSISTANCE PROGRAM - TEFAP

Farm Share provides food assistance to families across Florida. In select counties, this support is delivered through The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), a federally funded program that provides supplemental USDA commodities.

As a Florida-based independent food bank serving Floridians statewide, Farm Share receives this food through the Florida Department of Agriculture. We partner with local pantries, nonprofits, and community organizations to ensure this food reaches communities quickly and safely.

Through TEFAP, Farm Share distributes USDA foods, including fresh produce, shelf-stable items, and protein, to communities across Florida at no cost to the organizations or the recipients.

USDA food is distributed at local pantries and scheduled food distribution events.
