THE EMERGENCY FOOD ASSISTANCE PROGRAM TEFAP
Farm Share provides emergency food assistance to individuals and families facing sudden or ongoing food insecurity across Florida. In select counties, this support is delivered through The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), a federally funded program that provides supplemental USDA commodities.
As a Florida-based independent food bank serving Floridians statewide, Farm Share partners with local pantries, nonprofits, and community organizations to ensure nutritious food reaches communities quickly, safely, and with dignity

Through TEFAP, Farm Share distributes USDA foods, including fresh produce, shelf-stable items, and protein, to communities across Florida at no cost to the organizations or the recipients.
USDA food is distributed at local pantries and scheduled food distribution events.
