Farm Share and the ASPCA Feed pets in need!

With a pandemic and a huge economic downturn, Floridians have had to make tough decisions. At times Floridians have had to choose between gas, medication, fuel, food and if or not to buy pet food. THATS RIGHT, pets are going hungry in the state of Florida too. With about 3.5 million Floridians under food insecurity, we had to also think about their pets. The ASPCA is dedicated to the greater good of all pets. The ASPCA and Farm Share have teamed up in order to make sure that pets get food too. The ASPCA gave Farm Share a significant grant in order to obtain dog and cat food to add to our food distributions.

Every time we have a food distribution with pet food we ask the families if they need pet food and the answer we get back is a resounding - YES! Our pets are part of our families and its a shame that they must go hungry because of the recent current events. We are proud to have partnered with the ASPCA in order to do amazing work and pass out pet food during our food distributions in 2020 and 2021.
