Its is #Hungeractionmonth and we wanted to empower any organization that is able and willing to raise awareness regarding food insecurity. Our CEO Stephen Shelley sent in the video below in order to address afew issues. Among them:
Role Farm Share will play as the contract holder for TEFAP commodities in Palm Beach County, beginning October 1, 2021.
Partnership Farm Share has developed with Palm Beach County Food Bank for storage and distribution.
Number of Palm Beach County TEFAP pantry partners.
Volume of food that is expected to be distributed through TEFAP in Palm Beach County.
Other food commodities that might be available for Palm Beach County through Farm Share.
Any update about the fresh produce component that USDA is adding TEFAP.
