Join Stamp Out Hunger 2026
Each year, letter carriers across the country head out on their routes on the second Saturday in May to collect donations of non-perishable food items to benefit local food pantries.
Since launching in 1993, the National Association of Letter Carriers’ annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive has grown into the nation’s largest one-day food drive, helping to fill the shelves of food banks in cities and towns throughout the United States.
This year, it happens on Saturday, May 9, 2026, and Farm Share is proud to serve as Florida's official statewide partner
1. Gather. Collect non-perishable food items from your pantry or pick some up at the store this week.
2. Bag It. Place your donations in a bag or box by your mailbox the evening before or early morning on May 9th. (In the Tampa area, the National Association of Letter Carriers will provide bags for you to pack, starting May 1.)
3. Leave It Your USPS letter carrier will collect your donation during their regular route on Saturday, May 9th.
4. Done. As Florida's statewide partner, Farm Share ensures every donation collected goes directly to families across the state.

Why it Matters?
Right now, 1 in 6 Floridians doesn't know where their next meal is coming from. Record-high housing costs, gas prices, and grocery bills are pushing hardworking families to the breaking point, and the need has never been greater.Hunger isn't a distant problem. It's happening on your street, in your neighborhood, right now.
As Florida's official statewide partner of the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive, Farm Share makes sure every single donation collected across the state reaches the families who need it most. This May 9th, you have the power to be part of the nation's largest single-day food drive and make sure no Florida family goes hungry.
